Senior Software Engineer

Our client – Edenred Finance (formerly EBV Finance) stands as one of Europe’s top tax refund providers, renowned for its competence and trusted service across Europe. As a part of the Edenred Group, they're positioned to set new standards in financial solutions for cross-border transportation businesses, backed by extensive industry influence and global expertise.
We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Development team and contribute to the development, modernization and refactoring of the company’s internal software systems.
Job description
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain internal software systems
- Develop new functionality and modernize existing code
- Contribute to the refactoring and modularization of legacy systems
- Participate in technology modernization, automation and architectural initiatives
- Make and contribute to technical decisions, with the ability to explain and justify chosen solutions
- Perform Code Reviews, improve development standards and share technical expertise with the team
- Analyze technical challenges, propose solutions and continuously improve development processes
- Participate in Agile / Scrum activities and a weekly “Firefighter” rotation to help resolve incidents and maintain system stability
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience
- Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, WPF, Entity Framework and MS SQL
- Experience working with Jira and Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Ability to independently make technical decisions
- Experience performing Code Reviews
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take ownership and work independently
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
