Our client - Optoman, a Lithuania-based photonics/laser optics company. Founded in 2017, OPTOMAN designs and manufactures custom IBS-coated laser optics for high-power, ultrafast, industrial, scientific, defense, space, and medical laser systems. The company supports laser manufacturers, research institutes, and photonics companies worldwide with application-optimized optical coatings and components built for long lifetime, stable performance, and repeatable results.

Core business logic: OPTOMAN manufactures high-precision optical components (mirrors, thin-film polarizers, beam splitters, wavelength separators, etc.) using ion-beam sputtering (IBS) technology, then sells them to laser manufacturers, research organizations, and photonics companies globally.

Job Description
  • Build and maintain internal web applications end-to-end - both frontend (Angular) and backend (Python)
  • Design and implement features for core operations: orders, production, delivery, reporting
  • Integrate with external systems and APIs (Microsoft, CRM/ERP, cloud services)
  • Keep the codebase clean, secure, and maintainable
  • Use AI coding tools daily to speed up development, testing, and debugging
  • Build simple AI-driven automations or agents for internal processes.
  • Participate in code reviews, PRs, and production support
  • Turn requirements from the Product Owner into working, tested features
Core mission
Build and continuously improve the digital systems that power OPTOMAN’s operations by leveraging modern full-stack development and AI-assisted engineering, turning business needs into secure, scalable, and efficient solutions that enable orders to flow seamlessly from sales through production to delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in Angular (or React, Vue.js)
  • Skills in TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
  • SQL and database experience
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD basics
  • Daily hands-on experience with AI coding tools — writing clear prompts and critically reviewing AI-generated code.
  • Strong ownership and ability to work independently
  • English B2 level
Nice to have
  • CRM/ERP or third-party API integration experience
  • REST API design and Docker
  • Experience building AI agents/automations
  • Interest in operations, manufacturing, or logistics
Company offers
  • €1,000 annual personal benefits budget (MELP): choose what fits you best - health insurance, 3rd pillar pension, or other wellbeing/perks
  • Extra time off that grows with you: +1 paid day off on each work anniversary (up to 5 extra days), on top of standard annual leave
  • Stock option opportunity: a chance to share in long-term value creation and contribute to meaningful growth initiatives
  • Learning & growth support: a flexible L&D budget for relevant courses, certifications, workshops, and conferences
  • Hybrid work, done right: work from our Vilnius office 2 days per week and remotely 3 days per week, supported by clear ways of working
  • Team & work support: a separate budget for team-building and work-related tools/items, plus an additional phone budget
  • Great people, healthy culture: a supportive, collaborative team with a superhero mindset — we help each other win — plus company-wide events throughout the year
  • Strong onboarding: you'll work side-by-side with our Solution Architect to quickly understand our systems, architecture, and operational processes
  • Referral rewards & life moments: referral bonus for successful hires, and one-time support for special occasions (marriage, birth of a child, and other significant life events, per policy)
