Finance Team Lead

We are looking for a Finance Team Lead to oversee one of the finance teams in Klaipėda, which currently works with colleagues in Scandinavia, Poland, and Singapore. This is a newly created position reflecting the team’s growth and internal expansion. The team currently consists of 7 members and is expected to grow further. As the Finance Team Lead, you will coordinate team activities, ensure smooth financial processes, and act as the main point of contact for this team’s international colleagues.

Job description

  • Coordinate daily tasks and workload of the team (AP/AR/GL processes)
  • Ensure work is completed according to internal procedures and standards
  • Analyze, improve, and optimize financial processes
  • Support team members in resolving issues and challenges
  • Participate in month-end closing activities
  • Prepare reports, analysis, and participate in review meetings
  • Ensure the quality of all financial operations
  • Perform leadership duties: annual performance reviews, team development, planning

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Knowledge of financial processes (especially AP/AR/GL)
  • Experience in a finance-related role (leadership experience is a plus)
  • Fluent in English (B1 or higher, daily work level)
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with people
  • Proactive approach to process improvement
  • Experience in logistics or transportation companies is an advantage
