Senior Production Manager

Our client – LTP is an international manufacturing group specializing in textile garment  production. With a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and innovation, the company supports leading global brands by delivering high-end products. LTP is now looking for a Senior Production Manager to join their team in Kaunas and play a key role in managing and optimizing production operations.

Job description

  • Production Management: Oversee and coordinate the entire garment production process – from fabric preparation and cutting to sewing, quality control, packaging, and shipping. Set production goals, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery according to customer requirements
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain high quality standards across all production stages. Work closely with QC teams, ensure inspections are effective, and all garments meet client and regulatory requirements
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor department managers (Bulk Production, Cutting and Preparation Quality Control, Packaging, Shipping), fostering collaboration, efficiency, and a motivated working environment. Monitor performance, allocate resources effectively, and support staff development
  • Research & Development: Oversee  R&D team in prototype and sample development before bulk production. Align technical and commercial objectives,  ensure smooth transition from development to production and promote collaboration between departments
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure full compliance with labor, health, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement safety training, sustainability, and 5S workplace practices
  • Maintenance & Efficiency: Oversee maintenance of production equipment, reduce downtime, and drive continuous process improvements. Apply Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction, automation, and efficiency gains

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing & production management, textile Technology, Business management or any other relevant field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in manufacturing industry
  • Strong understanding of production operations and technical specifications
  • Experience managing multiple departments and production stages
  • Knowledge of in-line quality control systems
  • Hands-on leadership style with good organizational and communication skills
  • Strong problem management skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and problem-solving on the floor
  • Knowledge of production flow & line balancing
  • Ability to handle production pressure, delays, and fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, ISO 9001 standards or other efficient frameworks and ERP (production tracking software)are advantages
  • Fluent in Lithuanian and English
