They are seeking an experienced IT Delivery Team Manager to lead and drive high-performance delivery team, with a strong focus on delivery quality, technical execution, and security best practices. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and secure, while aligning with business goals and technology standards.
 

Job description  

  • Lead and manage the IT delivery team, including workload distribution, scheduling, and risk management
  • Drive people development, team engagement, and performance management initiatives
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery quality of IT projects, ensuring timely and successful outcomes
  • Continuously improve delivery processes, team velocity, and output through best practices and innovation
  • Define and monitor key metrics and KPIs related to code quality, test coverage, defect rates, and overall delivery success
  • Collaborate with solution and enterprise architects to ensure delivery aligns with architectural principles, system design standards, and technology roadmaps
  • Promote adoption of architectural best practices, including modularity, scalability, maintainability and performance optimization
  • Ensure security is embed at every stage of delivery by applying security-by-design frameworks
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulatory frameworks
  • Lead threat modeling sessions and ensure secure coding practices are adopted within the teams
  • Demonstrate a hands-on approach in supporting team members, resolving technical blockers, and driving results
Requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience as IT delivery manager or similar role in managing complex IT project delivery
  • Proven experience in leading and managing people
  • Familiarity with technologies such as .NET, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Technical architecture awareness
  • Technical background in software engineering or DevOps (a strong advantage)
  • Familiar with Agile / Scrum / Kanban methodologies
  • Strong communication, conflict and roadblocks management skills, with ability to manage conflicts and roadblocks effectively: able to speak the same language as technical teams and business stakeholders; skilled at facilitating and contribution to technical discussions
  • Proficiency in both Lithuanian and English (spoken and written)
  •  Ability to work in multinational and multicultural work environment
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, creativity, integrity, leadership, and planning capabilities
  • Ability to inspire innovation and drive progress through imagination and curiosity
