The opportunity

As a Python Software Developer, you’ll join a dynamic team working on scalable, microservice-based systems that power background screening solutions used globally. You’ll contribute to API integrations, backend services built with FastAPI, and play a part in developing innovative AI-driven features that bring real value to users.

This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior developer who values clean code, smart architecture, and continuous learning. We’re looking for someone with strong Python fundamentals, experience with frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django, and a willingness to explore new technologies - including AI.

Job description

• Develop and enhance web-based platform and help build new greenfield products using Python, MySQL on AWS, applying microservices and serverless architecture
• Collaborate on practical AI solutions using OpenAI to solve real business challenges
• Build unit tests and develop high-quality and maintainable software
• Follow best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability in all areas of development
• Participate in the design and implementation of software solutions, following best practices and coding standards
• Stay curious—keep up with emerging technologies, tools, and trends to continuously improve the product and engineering process
• Document software design, development processes, and code to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance
• Collaborate with internal teams and product owners
• Engage closely with experienced developers, software architects, and project managers to create high-quality solutions

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in web application development
• Solid Python development experience (minimum 3 years), ideally with modern frameworks like Fast API or Aiohttp
• Strong back-end development skills, including experience with Rest API design and database programming
• Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML5, and CSS3
• Proficiency with MySQL or similar relational databases
• Experience with any Git based source control
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and modern web application architecture
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes
